True community development takes more than an occasional service project. Community development requires a daily collaborative effort to create social change – an unprecedented amount of commitment that our members demonstrate every day.
Phi Rho Eta Fraternity, Inc. proudly thanks the corporations, organizations, and individuals who support our community development initiatives. Our efforts would not be effective without the continued support of those who, like us, are eager to instill hope in, and provide opportunities for, at-risk youth.
To that end, the Fraternity would like to express particular gratitude to the global law firm Jones Day – which has more than 2,500 lawyers on four continents and counts as its clients more than half of the Fortune 100 companies. In 2010, Jones Day gave a substantial grant to Mentor Teacher Brother which helped open the MTB Center, a one-of-a-kind Youth Center located on the south side of Chicago designed to help minority boys get the right start in life through mentorship and highly specialized programming.
